Redneck wine glasses

I've made these as gifts.

Here are the ones I made for Halloween.

I'm back

The last two months have been busy ones for me, my Darling grand daughter came to stay with us for the month of July, then my daughter, her mother joined us for the month of August. Then I went back to Washington state with them for a few days.

So with all that, my craft room became my grand baby's rooms so I had to pack up all my craft supplies and lock them in the closet.  I had major withdrawals during down time.

I unpacked my closed and rearranged and now have my craft room back... But I'm really missing my granddaughter... the house is very quite without her.

So.... anyhow..... I'm back :-)

Digi class

I signed up for a digi class thru Bugaboo's blog spot cant wait for it to start.  I have to say that I'm finding that I'm using more digi images then rubber just because it's much easier for me to look in my folder on my computer then to go hunting thru my rubber stamps.

Fathers Day Cards

So here's what I put together last night for Fathers Day.
I got the hammock image from Sassy Cheryl's digi stamps and the "happy father's day stamp is from SU,
Paper; SU whisper white for the image,
the black card stock and textured teal paper are also from SU.
Image colored with water pencils

MIA

I have missed my little blog with my small number of followers, hopefully my numbers will growJ But I guess I would have to post more.  I have been so busy the last several weeks traveling her and there and working my bottom off upon my return.

I finally got to go to a Hobby Lobby in Florida, All I have to say is OMG….. I have really been missing out, I spent 3 ½ hours roaming the isles and buying lots of DS paper I even had to buy a container to put all my purchased paper in to bring home.
 Can’t wait to go back.
I plan on posting my June sisterhood card by next week (keeping my fingers crossed) I don’t have a clue as to what to do, this month’s theme is to create either a sports related card OR an anything goes card, but using the COLORs of your favorite or local sports team.  Problem is I don’t follow sports so I don’t a favorite team or team colors, but I’m sure I’ll figure something out.

Monthly card swap

I belong to a wonderful monthly card swap that has a new hostess from our group each month and she picks the theme for her month.
Aprils theme is "Spring is here" so I first picked a layout pattern from  Splitcoast  (SC278) then I used a digi scene from  Bugaboo stamps called ladybugs. (you should check out her blog on Tuesdays and Fridays for her freebies they are amazing)
okay, so here is what I did.

I Printed the image on SU whisper white card stock, colored the flowers with Stampin up markers in blush blossom and pretty in pink.
for the center of the flowers I used stampendous fun flock in lemonde yellow.   The leafs were colored with green galore, certainly celery and pear pizzazz SU markers

Ladybugs- SU markers in real red, going gray and basic black.  I cut out the ladybug body then applied crystal effects and dimensionals as well as tiny black rhinestones to make them pop off the page.
layered the image on SU pretty in pink and certainty celery
I also used cuttlebug folder stylized flower on SU pretty in pink layered it on natural card stock
DS paper- TPC studio called girlfriends layered on SU certainty celery
Did the same with striped DS paper that I don't have a name for. (sorry)
and last I used dew drops in pearl white and green
Bows made with SU satin ribbon in pretty in pink.
OK... man that's a lot of work getting all that info.  I'll make sure I pay better attention in the future while I create.
